Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas J. Andrews, former residents of Los Gatos now residing in San Francisco, were hosts to around seventy-five guests who gathered in the French room of the Palace hotel in San Francisco Wednesday evening, August 25th, to fete the Andrews on their silver wedding anniversary.
The reception room was decorated with white flowers, and the room adjoining, which was used for dancing later in the evening, was made gay with bouquets of pink geraniums. During the evening those present enjoyed a lovely program which consisted of vocal, violin, and flute solos.
Guests at the affair included friends from San Francisco and its adjacent cities. The long time friends attending from Los Gatos included Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Case, Mr. and Mrs. WIlliam Jones and their daughter, Geraldine; Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Zopff and former Los Gatans, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mickelson.
