Faye M. Atchison

OTTAWA — Mrs. Faye M. Atchison, 69, Ottawa, died Tuesday at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam.

Born May 29, 1912, at Silver Lake, Kan., she was the daughter of George and Maude Mitchell, and moved to Franklin County in 1929. She married Homer J. Atchison in Ottawa on June 16, 1934. They farmed for many years in the Williamsburg area, moving to Ottawa in 1959.

Survivors include her husband of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Betty J. Heckman, Route 3, Ottawa; a son, Charles L. Atchison, Olathe; three brothers, Lawrence and Herschel Mitchell, both of Topeka, and Harry Stambough, Tonganoxie; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa. Visitation from 2 to 9 p.m. today and from 4 p.m. Thursday until the funeral service. Burial will be at Princeton Cemetery, Princeton.
