Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Cromer announce the marriage of their granddaughter, Marguerite Barrick to Russell Earnshaw. The marriage took place at Martinsburg, W. Va., on May 13 at the Methodist Episcopal parsonage by the Rev. Samuel E. Rose.
Mrs. Earnshaw is a member of this year's graduating class at Hagerstown High School. Mr. Earnshaw is a graduate of the class of '31 and also of the Renourard Training School for Embalmers.
Mr. and Mrs. Earnshaw will leave shortly by automobile for a trip to Chicago, where they will attend the World's Fair. On their return trip they will visit friends in New York and Philadelphia.

Mrs. Marguerite Earnshaw, Keedysville, and Mr. Cletus Bowlus, Hagerstown, were united in marriage on Thursday evening, March 28, in Trinity Evangelical Reformed Church, Boonsboro.
The Reverend William H. Groff performed the double ring ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mathews, Hagerstown, were the couple's only attendants.
Mr. and Mrs. Bowlus will reside in Keedysville, where Mrs. Bowlus operates a beauty shop. Mr. Bowlus is a salesman for Baer Brothers, Hagerstown.

Russell I. Earnshaw, 41, funeral director of Keedysville, died suddenly at his home at 11:20 last night. Death was due to a heart attack.
He was born in Hagerstown, the son of the late Jeremiah K. and Carrie M. (Slick) Earnshaw.
Mr. Earnshaw was a graduate of the Hagerstown High School class of 1930. He became a licensed funeral director in 1932 and has been conducting a funeral business at Keedysville for many years.
He was a member and deacon of the Mt. Vernon Evangelical Reformed Church, Keedysville, a past master of the Antietam Lodge A. and F.M. and a charter member of the Knights of Pythias, both of Keedysville. He was a member of Elks Lodge, Hagerstown; Red Men, Bonnsboro, and a social member of the American Legion at Sharpsburg.
Surviving are his wife, Marguerite (Barrick) Earnshaw; daughter Patricia Ann at home; sister, Mrs. Reuben Seegel, Hagerstown; also a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Mt. Vernon Evangelical and Reformed Church, Keedysville, with Dr. Edward Sponseller officiating. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Friends may call at the home on Wednesday after 12 noon and on Thursday at the church from 1 o'clock until the hour of service.
