Miss Jerusha Bell Beman, an old resident of Niles, died at her home on Main street yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock following a stroke of paralysis.
The departed was a native of Ohio and had spent the greater part of her life in Trumbull county. She taught school in her young womanhood and made a reputation for herself as an educator. Later she engaged in the work of seamstress and still later took up professional nursing. She was a woman of unusual versatility and of sweet Christian character.
She was a member of the Methodist church, having united with the church of her faith in her girlhood and was active in carrying on the work so long as her health permitted.
She is survived by one sister, Miss Millie Beman, with whom she shared her home.
Arrangements for the funeral will be announced at a later date.

The funeral of Miss Jerusha B. Beman will be conducted from her late home on Main street at 11:00 o'clock tomorrow. Rev. E. D. Barnett, will officiate. Burial will be made at the Duck Creek cemetery and the journey will be made with automobiles.
