August H. Blenz
CRAWFORDSVILLE — August H. Blenz, 80, of Coos Bay, a former resident of Crawfordsville, died Monday in Albany General Hospital.
Born in Colville, Wash., he move to Kalama and worked in the lumber industry before moving to the Crawfordsville area, where he farmed until his retirement. He moved to Coos Bay from Tacoma in 1980.
Survivors include a son, Marvin, Coos Bay; daughters, Vera Silvano and Evelyn Chappel, both of Mount Carmel, Penn.; brothers, Lloyd and William, both of Colville; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Steilacoom, Wash.
