Roy John Blenz, 65, Rt. 1 Box 297, Tennessee Road, died Wednesday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis of cancer. Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be 1 p.m. Monday in Woodlawn Cemetery in Bremerton, Wash.
He was born April 29, 1906 in Spokane, Wash. He had lived in Albany for the past 13 years.
He was a retired welder for Teledyne Wah Change Albany Corp.
He married Mavis C. Blenz Dec. 5, 1943 in Tacoma, Wash. She survived.
In addition to his widow, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jack Rancipher of Seattle, Wash. and Mrs. Eugene Sijota of St. Helens; three brothers, August of Tacoma, Wash., Burrel of Colville, Wash. and Lloyd of Kettle Falls, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
