Dale Duane Bliss
Dale Duane Bliss, 61, son of Mrs Cecil Bliss, 108 South West Fourteenth St., died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness.
He had been a resident of Turtle Creek East Nursing Home, Indianapolis, for the past five years. A native of Wayne County, Mr. Bliss spent most of his life in Richmond and for 15 years was a truck driver for Ralston-Purina Co.
He was a first lieutenant in the armed forces during World War II.
Other survivors include his widow, Irene; one brother, Howard L. Bliss of Bettendorf. Iowa; one daughter, two sons and one grandson, all of Omaha, Neb.
Services for Mr. Bliss will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel, West Sixteenth Street, Indianapolis, with burial in the North Liberty Cemetery, Indianapolis.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of services on Tuesday.
