Raymond Bliss

CENTERVILLE, Ind. — Raymond Bliss, 61 year old, retired farmer, died Wednesday in Reid Memorial hospital. He was born in Lake county, Ind., June 25, 1882, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bliss.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Cecile Bliss, Centerville; two sons, Howard, Centerville and Dale, U. S. army stationed in Texas; one sister, Miss Mildred Bliss, Richmond; one brother, Osborne Bliss, Fairmount, Ind.

Funeral arrangements will be announced.

Mrs. Cecile I. Bliss

Cecile I. Bliss, 85, 108 S.W. 14th St., died Sunday at Reid Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

A native of Cass County, she had lived in Wayne County since 1918. She was a former employee of the State Farm Mutual Insurance Agency and was the widow of Raymond Bliss, who died in 1943.

Survivors include one son, Howard L. Bliss of Bettendorf, Iowa; one sister, Mary McKinney of Indianapolis; two brothers, Ernest Oden of Indianapolis and Ward Oden of Ramona, Calif.; seven grandchildren; thre great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Bliss will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at North Liberty Cemetery . Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at Doan & Mills Funeral Home.
