Wedding vows were exchanged by Dorthe Louise Senft, 317 West Market street, daughter of Mrs. Lula M. Shatto, 207 Leaders Heights road, and of the late W. J. Bryan Senft, and David Wade Boyer, son of Mrs. Sallie Boyer, 332 West Jackson street, and of the late Roy Boyer, in a single ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Franklin D. Fry Saturday afternoon in Christ Lutheran Church.

Given in marriage by a brother, Frank W. Senft, the bride wore a dark blue suit lined with white silk, a matching silk blouse and a dark blue dulled satin hat with face veil. She carried a bouquet of white pompoms.

Mrs. Charlotte Gotwalt, Glen Rock, N. J., was matron of honor, wearing a dark blue wool crepe suit, small white straw hat and white accessories. She carried a bouquet of lavender pompoms. Leonard B. Boyer was best man for his brother and Charles I. Sheeley ushered. Evelyn C. Schaale played the organ.

A reception followed in the church social rooms. After their wedding trip to Williamsburg, Va., the newlyweds will reside at 317 West Market street. A graduate of William Penn Senior High School, the bride is employed by York Division, Borg-Warner Corporation. Her husband was graduated from the same high school and Pennsylvania State University. He is employed by the firm of Kochenour, Earnest, Smyser and Wonik.

Dorthe L. Boyer of York died of natural causes at 8:36 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital. She was 70.

She was a 19M39 graduate of William Penn Senior High School and a former secretary for York International. She was a member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church and of the Out Door Country Club, and held a Master Gardener Certificate from Penn State University Extension.

Born in York she was a daughter of the late Frank B. and Lula Paules Senft.

She leaves her husband, D. Wade Boyer, and a brother, Frank Senft.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Baumeister, Orcutt & Small Mortuaries, South Queen and Jackson streets. The Rev. John M. Vought Jr., her pastor, will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 50 E. King St., York 17401; or to the Master Gardeners' Program, Penn State Extension, 112 Pleasant Acres Road, York 17402.

D. Wade Boyer of York Township died Sept. 20 from injuries received in a plane crash in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was 69.

Mr. Boyer was a certified public accountant and was retired as partner of Koehenour, Earnest, Smyser & Burg Certified Public Accountants.

He served in the Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of Lutheran Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He was a member of the Eagle Fire Co., was co-founder of the Nittany Lion Club; and was member, former president and Club Golf Champion of the Out Door Country Club.

He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was affiliated with the White Rose No. 706 Free and Accepted Masons; the Harrisburg Consistory; The York County Shrine Club; and the Jesters.

He was a graduate of Penn State University.

Born in York April 14, 1929, he was a son of the late Roy and Sallie E. Stiles Boyer.

He leaves his wife, Weeda L. Wilson Trusheim Boyer; a stepson, Dale W. Trusheim of Newark, Del.; three stepdaughters, Linda A. Terry of Hendersonville, N.C., Deborah A. Todd of Monkton, Md., and Lori C. Trusheim of Baltimore; a brother Harold S. Boyer of York; seven stepgrandchildren a nephew and four nieces.

A brother, Leonard B. Boyer, also died in the crash.

Funeral services for D. Wade Boyer and his brother, Leonard B. Boyer, are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, 29 S. George St. Visitation will follow at the Out Door Country Club.

Burial is private and is in Mount Rose Cemetery with military rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
