He married GLADYS MARGARET SKINNER, daughter of STELLA GRACE FLEMING and CALVIN DARIUS SKINNER. She was born August 7, 1903,⁵⁶ and died October 28, 1998.⁵⁶ She is buried in Magnolia Cemetery, Putnam County, Illinois.⁴⁵⁶

Normal Man's Father Dies In Magnolia

Robert W. Bunting, 89, of Magnolia, father of a Normal man and a retired high school teacher, died Saturday (Dec. 6, 1986) at his home in Magnolia.

His graveside funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Magnolia Cemetery, the Rev. Joel Gray officiating.

There will be no visitation. Dysart Funeral Chapel, Granville, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a son, Roger Bunting, 1203 Searle Drive, Normal.

Mr. Bunting taught English and social studies at Magnolia-Swaney High School for 45 years.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Gladys M. Bunting

Gladys Margaret Bunting, 95, of Lacon and formerly of Magnolia, mother of a Normal man, died at 7:52 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 28, 1998) at St. Joseph Nursing Home, Lacon.

Her graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Magnolia Cemetery, Magnolia, the Rev. Lawrence "Skip" Conrad officiating. There will be no visitation. Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Among local survivors is a son, Roger Bunting, Normal.
