Mr. and Mrs. George Z. Michael, Diamond and Filbert streets, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Iola Frances Michael, to David M. Cassel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Cassel, 181 North George street. The ceremony was performed on March 15, last in the Evangelical church in Maryland. Mr. Cassel is located in the quartermaster department at Langley field, Va.

Iola F. Cassel of Dover died 9:10 p.m. Monday at Manor Care Kingston Court after a lengthy illness. She was 70.

Mrs. Cassel was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, York.

Born in York, a daughter of the late George Z. and Mary Rose Geiselman Michaels, she leaves her husband, David M. Cassel; a son, David M. Cassel, Dover; two daughters, Cynthla Lee Druck, Walton, N.Y., and Janie M. Taurins, York; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Private burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa., at the convenience of the family.

David M. Cassel of Dover died at 12:11 a.m. June 11 at Memorial Hospital. He was 84.

Mr. Cassel retired as a carpenter from Murray Kitchens.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.

Born in York April 27, 1917, he was a son of the late Mahlon E. and Emily C. Metz Cassel. He was the husband of the late Iola F. Michaels Cassel.

He leaves two daughters, Cynthia L. Druck of Walton, N.Y., and Janie M. Taurins of York; a son, David M. Cassel of Dover; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

There is no viewing. A private memorial service is at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Burial is private in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Lebanon County.
