Harriet Allene Cummer and William Hammond Christensen

WILLIAM HAMMOND CHRISTENSEN was born June 15, 1913 in Dodge County, Nebraska,⁹⁵¹⁰ and died November 4, 2005 in Honolulu County, Hawaii.⁴⁵⁶

He married HARRIET ALLENE CUMMER in 1939,⁸⁸⁹⁵ daughter of SUSAN MARJORY BALLOU and ALLEN WALDO CUMMER. She was born June 1, 1917 in Saunders County, Nebraska,¹²⁶²² and died August 15, 2018 in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii.

Harriett Allene Cummer is the name of the baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Cummer, who was born Friday at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ballou. Mr. Cummer came down from Scottsbluff Saturday for a visit with his wife and to get acquainted with his daughter.

Incidentally

California is getting a thorough looking over by Cmdr. William H. Christensen, his wife Harriet and children, Carl and Otis Ann before the family embarks in early November for Honolulu.

They are houseguests of the officer's mother, Mrs. A. G. Christensen, 200 Termino Ave. and are being entertained by their west coast relatives and friends.

Harriet is enjoying the visit, for it has given her an opportunity to see her mother, Mrs. Sue Cummer, and aunt, Mrs. Libby Senton, in their Pomono home.

They have also caught up on the latest happenings with the commander's sister, Mrs. Sterling Bemis of Lakewood and her family.

Their previous duty was in Washington, D. C., where Cmdr. Christensen was in the Bureau of Navy Personnel. They made their home in Arlington, Va.
