Gas Company Employe Killed As Motor Cycle Skids And Hits Trolley

Luther Clark, 24-year-old employe of the Gas and Electric Company, was injured fatally last night when the motor cycle on which he was going home from work skidded and struck the rear of a No. 8 streetcar at Woodlawn avenue and Frederick road.

The street car was operated by William F. Scarbath, Jr., according to Catonsville police. Clark, who lived at 27 Egges lane, Catonsville, was taken to St. Agnes' Hospital, where he died fifteen minutes after he was admitted.

Scarbath, who works out of the Irvington car barn, was released in custody of the Baltimore Transit Company claim agent pending an inquest at 3 P. M. Tuesday before Dr. F. L. C. Helm, automobile coroner.
