Alleging that her husband, William S. Bower, "is spending a greater part of his earnings upon Mary Etta Johnson and Lillie Peacock," Mrs. Mary C. Bower, of Arlington, filed a bill yesterday in the Circuit Court at Towson, through her counsel, H. Courtenay Jenifer, asking that her husband be compelled to support her and her child. In the bill Mrs Bower says they were married January 28, 1895, at Westminster, Carroll county, and that two children were born to them, one being married. She also charges er husband with having abandoned her on numerous occasions. Mrs. Bower asks for the custody of her son.
Judge Duncan signed an order compelling the husband to pay his wife $25 counsel fee and $5 a week during the continuance of the suit unless cause to the contrary be shown on or before June 20.
