The marriage of Miss Ellen McRoberts and Aubrey Clyde took place Saturday morning at ten o'clock at the home of the bride's father, A. H. McRoberts. The ring ceremony was read in front of the fireplace beautiful decorated with garden flowers, by the Rev. Lenox Crocket, of Saline Presbyterian church, in the presence of relatives and close friends. The bride wore a beautiful dusty pink starched chiffon gown and taupe and brown accessories. She was attended by her sister, Miss Mary Elizabeth McRoberts, who wore a gown of yellow lace. Mr. Lawrence McRoberts, brother of the bride, acted as best man for Mr. Clyde. The bridal couple left immediately after the ceremony for a motor trip through the west and after June 25th they will be at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Clyde.
Mrs. Clyde is a graduate of the State Teacher's College at Greeley, Colorado and is a member of Alpha Sigma Chi sorority. She has taught school for a number of years and for the past year was a member of the Malta Bend high school faculty. She is a charming young lady and well fitted for the place she has taken. Mr. Clyde is a very prominent farmer and stock man of this community.
