GRACE HOUSTON, daughter of ELLEN MCNEELY and JOHN PURDY HOUSTON, was born January 15, 1870 in Malta Bend, Saline, Missouri,⁷⁰⁶ and died April 17, 1921 in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri.⁷⁰⁶ She is buried in Malta Bend Cemetery, Saline County, Missouri.⁴⁵⁶

She married ALEXANDER HIGHLANDER MCROBERTS on December 15, 1906 in Malta Bend, Saline, Missouri.⁸⁴⁶³ He was born December 15, 1866 in Ross County, Ohio,⁴⁵⁶ and died February 13, 1938 in Saline County, Missouri.⁴⁵⁶ He is buried in Malta Bend Cemetery, Saline County, Missouri.⁴⁵⁶

Word received here yesterday told of the death of Mrs. A. McRoberts, who passed away at her home at Malta Bend, Mo., Sunday morning. The cause of her death was a complication of diseases. She was the aunt of Mrs. Ernest Blincoe and Mrs. Rice Gunn of this city. She was a sister of Mrs. A. M. Irvine, also of this city. Mrs. Irvine has been at her sister's bedside for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Blincoe and Mr. and Mrs. Rice Gunn left for Malta Bend this morning to attend the funeral.

A. H. McRoberts Dies Early Sunday

Funeral for Prominent Retired Farmer Held This Afternoon in Balta Bend Methodist Church

Alexander H. McRoberts, 71 years of age, a prominent retired farmer who lived 1 mile south of Malta Bend, passed away at 2 o'clock Sunday morning at his home.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at Malta Bend Methodist church and interment was in the Malta Bend cemetery.

A. H. McRoberts, son of Mary P. Sisk and Andrew Jackson McRoberts, was born in Ross county Ohio on Dec. 15, 1865. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edna Slane McRoberts and three children.
