DONALD JOSEPH COLTON, son of HARRIET ESTHER HERR and CHARLES MILLER COLTON, was born April 23, 1913 in Fort Dodge, Webster, Iowa,^{456, 6300} and died November 25, 1978 in St. Helena, Napa, California.^{250, 7997} He is buried in Hartley Cemetery, Lakeport, Lake, California.⁴⁵⁶

He married MILDRED MAY MORRIS on June 27, 1939 in Lake County, California.³⁵⁴¹ She was born January 1, 1916 in Lakeport, Lake, California,⁷⁴ and died June 23, 2008 in Webster, Rice, Minnesota.⁷⁴ She is buried in Hartley Cemetery, Lakeport, Lake, California.⁴⁵⁶

Donald Colton

LAKEPORT — Graveside services were today for Donald Colton, 65, who died Saturday in a St. Helena hospital.

He was an Iowa native and a Lake County resident 41 years. He was a retired bookkeeper, having worked for Konocti Harbor Inn prior to his retirement.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred Colton, Lakeport; sons, Charles Colton, Pittsburg, and Don Colton, Sacramento; daughter, Nancy Wade, Virginia; brother, Marvin Colton, New Mexico, and seven grandchildren.

Services and burial will be in Hartley Cemetery. Jones Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
