Ione Conger Supan Larsen, 89

Belmont Springs - Ione Conger Supan Larsen, 89, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001, of causes incident to age at her home.

Ione was born in Collinston, Utah, on March 2, 1912, the daughter of Warren Robert and Adna Frazer Conger. She married James Thomas Supan on Sept. 1, 1934, in Gooding, Idaho. They later divorced. She married C. Wayne Larsen on Jan. 23, 1947, in Tremonton, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized on April 20, 1949, in the Logan LDS Temple. Wayne died on April 15, 1996.

Ione was reared and educated in Tremonton. She graduated from Bear River High School, worked for the Telephone Company in Brigham, and sang with her sisters for the U.S.O. while working at the Defense Depot. Ione and her husband Wayne founded Wayne's Associated Service and Airomotive Flying Service. She loved bowling, golf, swimming, and singing in musical groups.

Ione was an Active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Primary, Young Women and Relief Society. She served a full-time mission at age 87 in the California Sacramento Mission.

She is survived by four sons and one son-in-law - Jim (Grace E.) Supan of Rupert, Idaho, Harold Anderson of Brigham City, Utah, Charles B. (Jean) Larsen of Smithfield, Utah, Wayne (Kara) Larsen of Tremonton, Utah, and William "Bill" (Kandi) Larsen of Elwood, Utah; two daughters: Joan (Wesley) Schenk of Nibley, Utah, and Diane (John) Courtney of Chandler, Ariz.; one brother, Leon (Theora) Conger of Edmonds, Wash.; one sister, Ara Conger Nielson (Warner) Thompson of Tremonton, Utah; 37 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters: Janice Ione Anderson and Peggy Jean Larsen; six brothers: Warren, Arthur, Harold, Keith, Lisle, and Leo; and one sister, Merle.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2001, at the Belmont LDS Church, 16925 N. 5200 West, Riverside, Utah. Friends may call Tue. from 6 to 8 pm at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N. 100 East, Tremonton, and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:40 am at the church.

Interment will be in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
