Miss Flora Strickler of Solomon City, a former student of Salina Normal University, was married at her home on Wednesday last, to C. S. Crooks, a business man of Solomon. She is congratulated by ner numerous Salina friends on the happy event. She was here, quite a favorite.

ROSE SELLS OUT
The New Firm Will be C. S. Crooks & Company
The firm of A. B. Rose & Co., has dissolved partnership. C. S. Crooks having bought the interest of Mr. Rose. The firm will hereafter be known as C. S. Crooks & Co., who will continue to carry on the large and growing business at the same place.
Mr. Rose has not decided to leave the city permanently and will probably not do so. He has a proposition under consideration and if he accepts the same, this city will be his headquarters. He leaves tonight for Hutchison to visit his brother a few days before going to Chicago, where he will be joined by Mr. Crooks and assist him in buying new spring goods for the latter's large dry goods establishment.
Mr. Crooks, although a resident of Abilene for less than a year, has made a good impression on the people of this city by his fair and gentlemanly conduct and the business will no doubt increase under his careful management.
