ETHEL GRACE DAVIS, daughter of ESTHER RUTH BURNS and FRANK JUDSON DAVIS, was born September 9, 1909 in Council Grove, Morris, Kansas,⁴⁵⁶ and died July 2, 1944 in Oregon City, Clackamas, Oregon.⁴⁵⁶ She is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Oregon City, Clackamas, Oregon.⁴⁵⁶

She married VICTOR LYLE MORFITT. He was born May 4, 1912 in Worthington, Noble, Minnesota,⁷³⁷⁷ and died April 17, 1992 in Multnomah County, Oregon.⁸⁷⁶

Word has been received of the death in Oregon City, Ore., of Mrs. Ethel Davis Morfitt. Mrs. Morfitt was a former teacher of Ritchie school.

Victor Lyle Morfitt

Victor Lyle Morfitt, a Gresham resident, died of complications arising from a stroke Friday in a Gresham care center. No service will be held. Mr. Morfitt was 79.

He was born May 4, 1912, in Bigelow, Minn., and was raised and educated in Minnesota. Mr. Morfitt had lived in Oregon since 1944 and worked as a mechanic fro a number of years. He retired from McGill's's Nursery during the mid-1970's.

Survivors include two sons; three daughters; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Disposition was by cremation.
