Cora Alice Dilley

Cora Alice Buntin was born June 24, 1879, at Laport, Ind., and passed away July 11, 1936, at her home in Reeds, Mo. WHen a small child she moved with her parents to Nebraska, and then to Wichita, Kan. She grew into womanhood north of Wichita, and was married to Thomas I. Dilley, August 10, 1895.

They lived in Kansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico, and for the past 17 years have lived on a farm in Jasper county, near Reeds, Mo. To this union were born six children, three of whom died in infancy.

She is survived by her husband, T. I. Dilley, and three sons, Guy and John Dilley of Wichita, Kan., and Claude Dilley of Reeds, Mo.; four brothers, Lewis Buntin, Gravette, Ark.; John Bunton, Wharton, Tex.; Clyde Bunton, Moscow, Kan., and Charles Bunton, north of Wichita, Kan. A sister, Ethel Busenbark, of Roseburg, Ore., also survives. Mrs. Busenbark was taken seriously ill Saturday morning as she prepared to leave for the funeral at Wichita, and was unable to attend the services.

Callie Bunton, brother of the deceased, a World war veteran, from Seminole, preceded Mrs. Dilley in death just 24 hours. He died in a United States Veterans' hospital in Wichita, Kan.

A double funeral was held in Wichita, Kan., The Rev. H. A. Kuhns, pastor of the Lynwood Presbyterian church, officiated. Burial was in the Kechi cemetery, north of Wichita, under the direction of Lakey & Martin Funeral Home.

Tom Isaac Dilley, 65, Former Wichitan, Dies at Spring Dale, Ark.

Tom Isaac Dilley, 65, former resident of Wichita and father of Charles G. Dilley, 1512 South Broadway, died suddenly yesterday in Spring Dale, Ark. He was a resident of Carthage, Mo., and had gone to Spring Dale on business.

Mr. Dilley farmed for a number of years in the Wichita vicinity and moved to Carthage several years ago. He was member of the Order of the Moose.

Besides his son here, he leaves two other sons, Claude H. of Carthage and John Isaac of Los Angeles, and a sister, Mrs. J. A. Purvians of Guthrie, Okla.

The body will be brought to Wichita for funeral services. Downing mortuary is in charge.

FUNERAL HELD HERE FOR THOMAS DILLEY

Funeral services for Thomas I. Dilley, 64 years old, a retired farmer of the Reeds district, who died suddenly Saturday in a hotel at Springdale, Ark., were held at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Ulmer funeral home. The Rev. Loren Dunton, pastor of the First Christian church, was in charge of the services. Mrs. Ed C. Ulmer sang accompanied by Mrs. Wayne Pierce. The body will be taken to Wichita, Kan., this morning for funeral services and burial in Kechi cemetery.

Dr. Dilley's death was unexpected. An inquest is to be held at Springdale. He was born March 20, 1874, in Illinois and had lived for many years in the Reeds district. Surviving are three sons, Charles G. Dilley of Wichita, Claude H. Dilley of Carthage and John I. Dilley of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. J. A. Purviance of Guthrie, Okla., and six grandchildren.
