Sarah Jane Eidam

Funeral services for Sarah Jane Eidam, 82, of Mentor, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at The Behm Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, in Geneva.

Mrs. Eidam died Nov. 20, 2005, in Mentor.

Born June 26, 1923, in Brecksville, she lived in Madison before moving to Mentor.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a past member of the Madison Garden Club, the Assistant Leader of Girl Scout Troop 234, and an avid antique collector. Mrs. Eidam loved her rose gardens.

Survivors are her daughters, Gayle (Scott) Stewart of Littleton, Colo., Jacklyn (Daniel) Reznak of Geneva, Donna (Joseph) McCall of Madison, and Debra Eidam of Saybrook; grandchildren, Jake Stewart, Joshua Reznak, Joseph McCall, Jr., Michael McCall, Jennifer McCall, and Samantha McCall; two great-grandchildren; sister, Janet (Dr. E.) Elliott of Archibold; and half-brother, Kenneth (Delores) Miller of Mentor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Eidam in 1975, who she married on October 18, 1947 in Brecksville; parents, Gladys (Wilkinson) and King F. Dillow; and sister, Jeanne Roberts.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Stephen Fisher of Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Madison.

The family suggests contributions to the Madison Fire District.
