Mrs. Alton B. C. Dunham, 70, of 1211 Mound st., died Saturday in a Madison hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in the Joyce funeral home, 540 W. Washington ave., and at 9:30 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church, 1128 St. James ct., the Rev. Louis Scheuring officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery. Friends may call at the Joyce funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
The rosary will be recited by the Daughters of Isabella at 7:30 tonight in the funeral home, followed by the parish rosary at 8 tonight.
Mrs. Dunham, the former Anna Mary Seymour, was a native of Whitehall, Mich., and lived in Tomahawk before coming to Madison in 1923.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, the ladies auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Fireman and Enginemen, Royal Neighbors, and Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include her husband, whom she married in 1912; one daughter, Mrs. William Buenzli, 1820 Vilas ave.; one sister, Mrs. Edward Rodgerson, 1519 Jefferson st.; one brother, William Seymour, Green Bay; and three grandchildren.

A. B. C. Dunham, 76, who was an engineer with the State Public Service Commission for more than 30 years, died today at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Judge and Mrs. William Buenzli, 1820 Vilas ave.
He was born in Clear Lake, Wis., July 19, 1885, and moved to Madison in 1922. He was an engineer in the railroad division of the Public Service Commission from 1922 to 1955. Prior to that, he was with the Milwaukee Road and served as legislative representative for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers. He was a member of the brotherhood 52 years and its legal representative for 20 years. He was also an active member of the Progressive Party.
A 32nd degree Mason, he was a member of the Tomahawk Masonic lodge and the Madison consistory.
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Buenzli; a brother, Harold of Inglewood, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Charles Davison, Casper, Wyo., and three grandchildren.
Masonic services will be held at Resurrection cemetery at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the Frautschi funeral home on Speedway Road.
