Married in WAVES Barracks At Floyd Bennett Field
A pretty wedding took place on Nov. 3 in the reception room of the WAVES barracks at the New York Naval Air Station at Floyd Bennett Field, when Miss Marjorie Johnson, Specialist 3c, became the bride of Ensign George Englesby. The ceremony was performed by Chaplain Gatlin from District Headquarters. Charlotte Walker, Sp. (G) 3c, was soloist and Ensign Gabler was at the organ. Betty Blum, Sp. (G) 3c, was maid of honor and Lieutenant E. G. Murry was best man.
The bride was given away by Lieutenant Partington.
