HARVEY Y. ERVIN, son of MARY JANE CAROLINE YOUNG and JOHN ERVIN, was born in 1846 in Ohio, and died in July, 1877 in New Paris, Jefferson Township, Preble, Ohio.

He married ELEANOR H. BOWMAN on October 25, 1870 in Preble County, Ohio.¹² She was born in 1844, and died in 1880 in Richmond, Wayne, Indiana.
