MRS. EDITH M. FRANKLIN

A former Akron and Stow resident, Mrs. Edith M. Franklin, was killed instantly Wednesday in Williamsport, Pa., when she was struck by a train while crossing the railroad track. Relatives here were not notified of the particulars of the accident.

A former employe of the First Central Trust Co. and the Dime Savings Bank in Akron, Mrs. Franklin had lived in Stow as a young girl and later moved to Akron. She left Akron three years ago to make her home in Williamsport. She was a member of the Disciple church in Stow.

She leaves her husband, Clayton E.; a daughter, Judith; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Noble of Stow; one brother, Donald, also of Stow and two sisters, Mrs. Albert Cronninger of Akron and Mrs. Donald Brown of Detroit.

Services will be held at 3 p. m. Sunday at the Billow chapel and burial will be in Maple Gove cemetery, Ravenna.
