FULTON-WARD NUPTIALS

Friends in Stark Valley have just learned of the wedding of Lowell R. Fulton and Helen J. Ward which took place at the Methodist church in Madison, Sunday, June 14.

To the strains of the wedding march played by Mrs. Bader, the wedding party took their places at the altar where the Rev. Carl G. Bader, pastor of the church, read the marriage service, using the double ring ceremony.

The bride was gowned in peach lace with touches of blue over peach satin, with which she wore white accessories and carried Madame Jumel roses, a gift of the Rev. and Mrs. Bader. She was attended by Miss Lydia Kruntarod of Pierce. Miss Kruntarod wore navy blue with white accessories. The bridegroom was attended by Verle Ward, brother of the bride.

The ceremony took place at 6 o'clock with only the attendants and Mrs. Bader present. After the ceremony the wedding party went to Norfolk where a wedding supper was served.

Mrs. Fulton is the youngest daughter of Mrs. Margaret Ward. She grew to womanhood here and was graduated from the Plainview high school in 1933. After her graduation, she remained at home and was active in the young people's work of the church. Mr. Fulton is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Fulton. He grew to manhood here, was graduated from Plainview in 1933 and attended Wayne State Teachers college two years. Since leaving Wayne he has has been employed at Houston's store. At present Mr. and Mrs. Fulton will be at the Ward and Wallace Fulton homes, but expect to locate in Plainview later.

Since the wedding became known various affairs are being planned in their honor. Sunday evening, Mrs. Margaret Ward gave a dinner with only immediate relatives of the couple attending. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Fulton are planning a dinner for a larger group of relatives this week.
