DR. WILLIAM GALLUPE.

BOSTON, Feb. 13.—A dispatch to The Journal from Bangor announces the death there of Dr. William Gallupe, one of the oldest homeopathic physicians in the country. He died very suddenly this forenoon, probably having ruptured a blood vessel in the brain while shovelling snow. He was born at Plainfield, Conn., was graduated at Dartmouth College, practiced medicine at Lebanon, N. H., Ipswich, Mass., and Concord, N. H., and removed to Bangor in 1844. His age was seventy-seven.
