Asbury Smith performed the single ring ceremony in the parsonage of the First Methodist Church. Mrs. Davenport is a registered nurse. The bridegroom operates a service station at Strinestown, where the couple will reside.

Mrs. Andrew Davenport, 69, Strinestown, Dies

Strinestown — Mrs. Frances L. Davenport, 69, wife of Andrew E. Davenport, this place, died yesterday at 1:30 p.m. at her home.

Mrs. Davenport was a member of the Ladies' auxiliary of Shrinestown Fire company.

Surviving also are six stepchildren, Andrew E. Davenport Jr., Manchester RD 1; Mrs. Katharine Ansburger, North Hills; Mrs. Ruth Starner, Dearborn, Mich.; Mrs. Margie Peterson, York, and Mary and Betty Davenport, York; a brother, Wilson Geiselman, Syracuse, N. Y.; four sisters, Mrs. William Cunningham, Carlisle; Mrs. Ida Gibson, Philadelphia; Mrs. Eva Strayer, Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Margie McCleary, York; two nieces and four nephews.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Sleeger Funeral home, 822 East Market street, York, with burial in Mt. Rose cemetery.

Andrew E. Davenport

Andrew E. Davenport Sr., 65, husband of the late Frances Davenport, died at 10:55 p. m. Wednesday at his home, 944 Lancaster avenue.

He was former owner of Conewago Beverage Company and Andy's Service Station, Strinestown, and was a member of Strinestown Fire Company.

Davenport is survived by six children, Mrs. Albert Arnsberger, 1765 Pelham drive; Andrew E. Davenport Jr., Strinestown; Mrs. Margie Peters, 994 Lancaster avenue; Mrs. Mary Rounsley, 365 East Philadelphia street; Mrs. Ruth Starner, Farmington, Mich., and Mrs. Betty Groft, 365 East Philadelphia street; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah J. Sponseller, 238 York street, and Mrs. Edgar Pearson, 364 East Philadelphia street; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A former wife, Mrs. Margaret Davenport, lives at 365 East Philadelphia street.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Sunday at the Sleeger Funeral Home, 822 East Market street. The Rev. George Kemp, rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
