Miss Virginia Mitchell Dean, daughter, of Mrs. William Dean, of Harrisonburg and Andover, Mass., and a sister of Mrs. Clarence Crist, of this city, became the bride of Donald Lindemann Hague of East Orange, N. J. on Saturday afternoon, June 15th at 3:30 o'clock.
The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's brother, James L. Dean, 8 Kensington St., with Rev. George Edgar Polk, of Oakdale, officiating. Another brother of the bride, Edward Paige Dean, gave his sister in marriage.
Mrs. James Lindley Dean, wearing chartreuse chiffon, played the wedding march from Lohengrin.
The bride wore a tailored gown of aqua-marine blue with pale yellow picture hat and shoes of matching color. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses, lilies of the valley and maiden hair fern. Her maid of honor, her only attendant, Miss Sarah R. Dean, also of Andover, wore a gown of yellow chiffon with contrasting hat and shoes of aqua-marine blue and carried a bouquet of yellow roses, lilies of the valley and blue delphinium. The brother of the groom, Robert Hague acted as best man.
The home was decorated with palms, ferns, ivy, white gladioli and snapdragons, and lighted with cathedral candles.
The mother of the bride wore a gown of dark blue chiffon with corsage of talisman roses. The bride groom's mother wore a pink lace gown with corsage of pink roses and delphinium.
The bride attended the Cambridge Haskell School for Girls in Cambridge, Mass. and is a graduate of the Fairfax School of Los Angeles, California, and Wheelock school of Boston, Mass.
The groom is a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology and attended the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and is a member of Chi Psi Fraternity.
After an extended wedding tour through Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Hague will be at home after July 15th in Crandell, N. J.
