Five of Colorado's soldier dead will arrive in Denver this morning from France, according to word received here yesterday from the offices of the Rocky Mountain club of New York.
Among the bodies will be that of Frank Hall, formerly of 3270 West Thirtieth avenue.
Hall enlisted in the service on May 12, 1918, and was among the first to cross the Atlantic. He arrived in France on July 26, 1918, and soon afterward was in the front line trenches. Among the important engagements of the American troops in which he took part were the battles of the Argonne and Oudenarde. Hall was on the firing line when the armistice was signed. He was awarded the croix de guerre with palms for a brave act performed in Belgium.
Hall was a member of the 363d Infantry of the Ninety-first division, and his company was awaiting oders for embarkation for America at St. Cyr la Posiere when he became sick of influenza and died. He was 28 years old.
Hall is survived by his father, Dan Hall of Fullerton, Neb.; by two brothers, Claude hall of Fullerton, Neb., and Edward Hall of Prince George, B. C., and by one sister, Beulah C. McLean of 3270 West Thirtieth avenue, Denver.
