WEDDING BELLS

Miller-Hanna

On Wednesday, December 26, at the home of the bride's parents in Colby occurred a pretty wedding, when Miss Ina Miller, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvah Miller, was united in marriage to Mr. James W. Hanna, of Wakeeney. The M. E. minister of Colby officiated.

The bride was dressed in a beautiful gown of pale blue satin and canton crepe and the groom was attired in a suit of blue serge.

Mrs. Hanna is a talented young lady who was reared in Sheridan county and has many friends here who will be interested to learn of her marriage. Mr. Hanna is an industrious young farmer and stockman and is well liked by those of his community.

Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to the guests, who were near relatives of the contracting parties.

The happy young couple left immediately on a honeymoon to Eastern Kansas and Nebraska, after which they will be at home to their many friends on the bridegroom's ranch near Wakeeney.

The newlyweds received many useful wedding presents.

Ina A. Hanna

OAKLEY — Ina A. Hanna, 90, Oakley, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1995, at Oakley Manor.

Mrs. Hanna was born Ina A. Miller on Jan. 11, 1905 in Graham County and was a resident of the Oakley area since 1940. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Goldenrod Club, both of Oakley.

Her husband, J. W., died in 1992.

Survivors include a daughter, M. Joanne Wilson of Oakley; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Oakley United Methodist Church, the Rev. James Brackett officiating. Burial will be in Oakley Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Koster Funeral Home, 217 Freeman, Oakley 67748, and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
