John P. Harlan
MECHANICSBURG — John P. Harlan, 72, 17 S. Chestnut St., died Friday morning in Seidle Memorial Hospital.
He was retired from Myers Olds, Lemoyne, and was a member of Shepherdstown United Methodist Church, Washington Fire Company, and Mechanicsburg VFW Post 6704.
He is survived by his wife, Martha E. Harlan; two daughters, June Hoerner, Shiremanstown, and Joanna Noss, Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Flo Harlan, Mechanicsburg, and Jennie Bollinger, Grantham; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Myers Funeral Home, 37 E. Main St., with the Rev. Stewart Bignman officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
There will be no viewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Shepherdstown United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
