FRANK HAROLD, LOCAL DOCTOR, TAKEN BY DEATH

Dr. Frank L. Harold, 42 South Nineteenth street, practicing physician here for a number of years, died Saturday morning at 6 o'clock at his residence after an illness of a week.

Dr. Harold was a member of one of Richmond's pioneer families and for many years was associated in the practice of medicine with his father, the late Dr. Isaac Harold, the two maintaining offices on North Tenth street. After Dr. Isaac Harold moved to Indianapolis about 15 years ago, Dr. Frank Harold continued to practice his profession here and at the time of his death maintained an office in the Medical Arts building.

He was born near Greenfield, Ind. but had resided here fro more than 40 years. He was a graduate of the Richmond High school and Earlham college, and took his medical degree from the Physio Medical school, Indianapolis.

He was a birthright member of the Friends church. He also was a member of the Elks lodge.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Constance Bell Harold; his mother, Mrs. Cordelia Harold; a sister, Miss Halcy Harold, both of Indianapolis, and a brother, Rev. Earl Harold, New Smyrna, Fla.

Funeral services will take place at the residence Monday afternoon and interment will be in Earlham cemetery. Services will be strictly private. Rev. George G. Burbanck will officiate. Friends may call at the residence after noon Sunday.

Dr. Frank Harold Dies at Richmond

Funeral Services Today For Physician—Born Near Greenfield.

Richmond, Ind., Oct. 15.—Private funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon for Dr. Frank L. Harold, practicing physician here more than 35 years, who died at his home after a short illness.

Born near Greenfield, he resided here nearly all his life. He was the son of Dr. Isaac Harold who practiced here and at Indianapolis and was a descendant of one of the earliest pioneer families of Wayne county. He was a birthright member of the Society of Friends, a member of the Richmond lodge of Elks and a graduate of Earlham College.

Survivors include the widow; his mother, Mrs. Isaac Harold, and a sister, Halcy Harold, both of Indianapolis, and a brother, the Rev. Earl Harold of New Smyrna, Fla.

Mrs. Constance Harold

Constance Harold, who formerly lived at 42 S. 19th St., died Tuesday evening at Friends Fellowship Community following a lengthy illness.

A native of and lifelong resident of Richmond, she was the widow of Dr. Frank Harold, who died in 1939. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Mrs. Harold will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Earlham Cemetery with the Rev. Phil Holiday officiating. There will be no public calling. Arrangements are announced by the Doan & Mills Funeral Home.
