IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN

I, JENNIE H. COCHRAN, now residing in the Burough of Brooklyn, City of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare my last Will and Testament, as follows:

FIRST: I order and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon as practicable after my decease.

SECOND: Out of the assets of my estate consisting of cash or securities, I order and direct my executor hereinafter named, to erect a suitable monument in my cemetery plot at Ann Arbor, Michigan, not to exceed Five hundred dollars ($500) in cost, and if a head-stone has not been erected on the graves of my Father and Mother and sister Fannie, I authorize and direct my executor to erect said head-stone.

THIRD: I hereby give and bequeath to the Cemetery Corporation at Ann Arbor, Michigan, in which I own a cemetery plot, the sum of Fifty dollars (450.00) for the purpose of permanent care of said plot.

FOURTH: I give and bequeath to my beloved husband, HENRY L. COCHRAN, the sum of Two hundred dollars ($200) with the request that he use the same to purchase a pearl scarf pin or anything else, just for a keep-sake. I give nothing more to my husband, not because of want of any regard and affection for him, but because he has sufficient means of his own and he understands the reasons which prompt me to make my will in this manner.

FIFTH: I give and bequeath to CAROLYN W. LACK, the sum of Ten dollars ($10.00).

SIXTH: All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, and wherever situate, I give, devise and bequeath to my grand-niece, FRANCES PALMER ROSSE, for and during the term of her natural life with full power and authority to use so much of the principal of my estate as she my desire to use and for so much of the principal that she may so use no account shall be made to any of the residuary legatees under this my will.

SEVENTH: Upon the death of my said grand-niece, FRANCES PALMER ROSSE, I give so much of the principal of my estate as may not have been used by her to the girl children of MAMIE KINNE MARTIN, to have and to hold the same forever.

EIGHTH: I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my beloved husband, HENRY L. COCHRAN, sole executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I, JENNIE H. COCHRAN, have hereto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 22nd day of October, in the year of our Lord, One thousand nine hundred and twenty.
