HENRY PORTER HITCHCOCK, son of HARRIET ABIGAIL HOUSTON and WILLIAM EDWIN HITCHCOCK, was born November 22, 1894 in Vaddukoddai, Ceylon, India,⁷³⁷⁷ and died December 23, 1986.¹¹²⁴⁴ He is buried in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville, Baltimore, Maryland.¹¹²⁴⁴

He married SOPHIA ELLEN STROHMEYER. She was born March 6, 1892 in Baltimore, Maryland,⁴⁵³² and died February 9, 1989.¹¹²⁴⁵
