Patsy R. Hayes Becomes Bride Of Leo J. Hobbs

Miss Patsy R. Hayes, 3218 E. Pine St., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hayes, Cunningham, Kan., became the bride of Leo J. Hobbs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harve Hobbs, 1354 N. St. Paul St., on Sept. 26.

The Rev. DeWight Lewis rad the double ring vows at 2 o'clock in the afternoon in the Cunningham Christian Church. Miss Norma Watkins was vocalist, and Miss Ann Hauser was organist.

The bride wore a chapel-length gown of lace and net over satin and a fingertip veil. She carried a white Bible topped with an orchid.

Mrs. Mary Ann Canniff was her sister's matron of honor. She wore a teal-blue, chapel-length satin gown and carried a bouquet of gold and bronze mums. Robert H. Taylor served as best man, and seating guests were Jerry Canniff and Kenneth Watkins.

The mother of the bride wore a charcoal-gray faille dress trimmed with beaded pink satin and a yellow mum corsage. The bridegroom's mother chose a charcoal-gray crepe dress and wore a yellow mum corsage.

Assisting at the reception in the church undercroft were Mesdames William Lane, Jess Foulk, Harold Watkins, Aaron Ball and Misses Carolyn Ball and Ann Lane.

Mr. and Mrs. Hobbs went to Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa for their wedding trip. They are at home at 3218 E. Pine St.

Hobbs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harve Hobbs, 634 Platt, has completed his basic army training at Lincoln, Neb., air base, and is now enrolled in an engineering course at the University of Nebraska. He was employed at Beech aircraft for one year following his graduation from East high school until entering the army.
