Robert E. House

Robert E. House, 23, of 1316 West Fairview avenue, died of leukemia at 4:45 a. m. today in Good Samaritan hospital. He was born July 21, 1924, in Richmond, Ind. A member of the marine corps reserve, Mr. House had served during the Second World War with the Marines in the South Pacific area as a staff sergeant. He was a member of Riverdale Congregational Christian church. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold V. House, Dayton; a sister, Mrs. Martha L. Fouch, Dayton, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. House, Campbellstown.

Robert E. House

Robert E. House, 23, of 1316 W. Fairview av., a Marine Air Corps veteran, died at 4:45 a. m. Thursday in Good Samaritan hospital after several weeks' illness.

Born in Richmond, Ind., he had resided in Dayton 19 years. He was graduated from Fairview high school in 1942 and served three years with the Marines in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Marine Corps Reserve and the Riverdale Congregational Christian church.

He was employed as an assistant pressman at the McCall Corp.

Suviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold V. House; a sister, Mrs. Martha L. Fouch of Dayton, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. House, Campbellstown, Preble county.
