LIVED HERE FORTY YEARS.

John Warner Johnson, a retired business man, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles McIntyre, 2407 Central avenue, last night. He was 75 years old. John Johnson was born in Richmond, Ind., and has lived in this city for forty years. He was engaged both in the wholesale and retail business. A wife and two daughters, Mrs. George Hicks, of Birmingham, Ala., and Mrs. McIntyre, survive him. The family was at the bedside at the time of his death. The funeral will be held from the daughter's home Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.

MRS. F. H. JOHNSON DIES.

Was Charter Member of First Friends' Church In Indianapolis.

Mrs. Frances Harriett Johnson, age eighty-one, the widoe of John W. Johnson, formerly a wholesale paper merchant, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles T. MacIntyre, 3846 Park avenue.

Mrs. Johnson was a charter member of the First Friends church of the city and also was a charter member of the Colored Orphans' home and an honorary member of the board of the Bertha Ballard home. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. MacIntyre and Mrs. George W. Hix, both of Indianapolis; one grandson, Charles Leland MacIntyre, a member of the United States army, stationed at Ft. Thomas, Ky., and one granddaughter, Miss Marguerite MacIntyre.

Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock p. m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Crown Hill cemetery.
