Arthur R. Keever

1917-1999

MARYVILLE, Mo. — Arthur Richard Keever, 81, Maryville, died Friday, March 26, 1999, at a Maryville health-care center.

Mr. Keever was employed as a mechanic for Ladd Motors, Maryville, from 1946 to 1951. He also served in the Army from 1942 to 1946 and in the Missouri National guard from 1951-1972, as a motor maintenance technician.

Born Dec. 31, 1917, in Maitland, Mo., he was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Maryville.

On May 22, 1946, he married Irma M. Bartram in Maryville. She survives of the home.

Mr. Keever was preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Cora E.; two brothers, Dillard and Robert; and three sisters, Mildred Crockett, Nora Wilson and Roberta Brown.

Additional survivors: two daughters, Evelyn Klindt, Lenexa, Kan., and Margaret Keever, St. Joseph; two brothers, J.R., Greeley, Colo., and John, Vernal, Utah; three sisters, Wilma Butzer and Neva Bammer, both Mound City, Mo., and Eva M. Lynch, Vista, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial: 11 a.m. Monday, Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville. Visitation: after 1 p.m. today, Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Memorial contributions may be sent to Nodaway County, Mo., Senior Citizen Center.

MARYVILLE, Mo. — Irma (Bartram) Keever, 83, Maryville, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Mrs. Keever was born Jan. 7, 1920, in Skidmore, Mo., to Claude and Vernie (Sanders) Bartram.

On May 22, 1946, Irma married Arthur Keever in Maryville. He preceded her in death March 26, 1999; as did her brother, Leon Bartram and her parents.

A homemaker, Irma is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Klindt, Leawood, Kan.; and Margaret Keever, St. Joseph; three grandchildren, Bryon, Trisha and Angie; and two great-grandchildren, Sabryn and Paige Young.

Graveside service and burial: 2 p.m. Monday, Nodaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Maryville. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Memorials to: Parkdale Care Center, Maryville, in Irma's name.
