In the presence of more than twenty guests the contracting parties took their places under an arch of evergreen, while the bride's cousin, Miss Anna Sanders, rendered the piano selection, entitled, "Beautiful Star of Heaven." Master Ellis Bartram and Milbern Sanders, dressed in pink suits and white collars and ties, performed as ribbon boys.
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Kneale acted as bridesmaid and groomsman. Pink and white were the prevailing colors.
An appetizing two-course supper was served, following the ceremony. The bride and groom were born and raised in Holt county, and they each stand high in their community as possessing sterling worth and character.
