A. Irving Kibler, Sr., 92, of Maurertown, Va. passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 29, 1916, son of the late Amon Lee and Beulah Riffey Kibler. Preceding him in death were brothers Ralph and Melvin Kibler and sister Charlotte Gochenour.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Jim Baseler on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset View Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Woodstock. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Viewing will be on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 at the funeral home.
Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Spiker, Sr., Fred Feller, Irving Getz, Carl Conner, David Conner and Donald Hamrick.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marie Wisman Kibler; a son, A. Irving Kibler, Jr. and his wife Judy; a daughter Donna K. Patton and her husband George; four grandsons: Donald Kibler and wife Stephanie; Darryl Kibler and wife Debra, Gregory Patton and wife Diana and Bradley Patton; three great-grandchildren; Amber Patton, Jacklyn Kibler, Andrew Kibler and Meredith Breeden; two great-great-grandchildren; Regan and Logan.
Mr. Kibler was a life-long farmer, a Produce Huckster for 47 years in the Washington, D.C. and Metro area and a Shenandoah County School Bus driver until retirement in 1989. He was one of the oldest members of St. Matthews Lutheran Church and the Massanutten Antique Tractor Club. He was honored for attending the Shenandoah County Fair for 91 years.

Ethel "Marie" Wisman Kibler, age 94, of Maurertown, passed away on January 26,2015, at Skyline Terrace Nursing Home (Memory Lane) in Woodstock.
Marie was born on March 29, 1920, daughter of the late Blaine and Hester Fravel Wisman.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Albert "Irving" Kibler; a sister, Evelyn W. Wilcox, and brother, Joseph B. Wisman.
Surviving are her son, Albert "Irving" Kibler, Jr. and wife Judy; daughter, Donna K. Patton and husband, George. Grandchildren are Donald Kibler (Stephanie), Darryl Kibler (Debra), Gregory Patton (Diana), Bradley Patton and Meta Kelley. Great grandchildren are Amber Patton Goodpasture, Jacklyn Kibler and Andrew Kibler and Meredith Breeden. There are three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28. A graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset View Memorial Gardens. Rev. Deanna Boynton will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Patton, Bradley Patton, Donald Kibler, Darryl Kibler, Ronald Gochenour and Frankie Conner.
