He married LYDIA ELIZABETH ELLIBEE in 1890, daughter of MARY STAMBAUGH and ISHMAEL ELLIBEE. She was born April 4, 1866 in Indiana,²⁵⁰ and died March 6, 1958 in Los Angeles County, California.²⁵⁰

FORMER INSURANCE MAN HERE DIES IN WEST

Word was received here yesterday of the death in Long Beach, Cal., August 27, of Valentine C. Krenzer, 72, for 33 years an agent for the American Central Insurance Company of St. Louis. Mr. Krenzer was widely known in insurance circles here. He was a member of the Royal League of Ivanhoe Council No. 95 of St. Louis.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lydia E. Krenzer; two sons, Valentine W. and John E. Krenzer, and four sisters. The body is being brought east and burial will be Tuesday at Highland, Ill.
