The wedding of Miss Nancy Sawyers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Sawyers of Cuero, and Charles F. C. Ladd Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. F. C. Ladd of this city, was solemnized Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock in St. Paul's Episcopal Church in the presence of only the immediate families, with Rev. William T. Capers Jr., officiating.
The bride who entered with her father, was lovely in a frock of white gerogette with close fitting white hat. Mrs. H. W. Reusswig of New York City, sister of the bride, and her only attendant, wore an attractive gown and hat of orchid.
Allen Sawyers, brother of the bride, served as best man.
Mr. and Mrs. Ladd, Jr., will motor to the West Coast where they will make an extensive tour, returning to San Antonio in the early Fall.

Speaking of When They Are Very Young, Nancy Ladd had been giving her little boy, who is in the pre-primer class at school, a nickel every day for a glass of milk, when suddenly one day she chanced to say, "Well, did you have your glass of milk?" He said no that he hadn't been drinking milk, he'd been giving his nickel to the big boys so they would let him play baseball with them. And if that young man doesn't land in the big league, it's just too bad.
