A. B. Sawyers returned to his home in this city Friday after accompanying his daughter, Miss Inez Sawyers to Belton, Tex., where she re-entered Baylor College for Women after spending the holidays at home. Mr. Sawyers had the misfortune to lose his tire rack of his car, but the insertion of an advertisement in the Belton newspaper turned the trick and he now has his extra tires once more.

MISS INEZ SAWYERS, Dancing Instructor, Returns to S. A.

Miss Inez Sawyers, who has spent the past six months in New York, studying dancing and art, has returned to San Antonio and will open a studio in the near future.

Miss Sawyers studied the modern dance at the Mary Wigmam School of Dancing and Martha Graham School; Folk and National dancing at the Chalif School of Dancing and ballroom dancing iwth Mary Cussans. Miss Sawyers studied art with Ralph M. Pearson, director of The Design Work Shop, a school of modern creative art.

CLASSES FOR CHILDREN

Including natural and creative dancing for young children; ballroom dancing for beginners; moder dancing for children of 10 to 16 years and classes in art for children of 5 to 14 years.

Classes for adults including the modern dance and rhythmic exercises.

Miss Inez Sawyers left Saturday for New York to be gone until Sept. 1. She will visit while there with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Reusswig, both well-known artists. Mrs. Reusswig paints professionally under the name Martha Sawyers.

Miss Sawyer plans to see all the large art exhibitions during the time she spends in New York.

INEZ MAY SAWYERS

CUERO — Inez May Sawyers, 87, of San Antonio, formerly of Cuero, died in a San Antonio hospital Monday, Nov. 25, 1991.

She was born March 31, 1904, in Jacksonville to the late A.B. and Inez Brasher Sawyers. Miss Sawyers attended Columbia University, Frockel League New York City and the University of Texas. She was an art teacher at St. Mary's Hall for 25 years and member of the San Antonio Art League and the San Antonio Conservation Society.

Survivors: sister, Nancy Ladd of San Antonio.

Visitation4 p.m. Thursday at Freund Funeral Home.

Funeral services 10 a.m. Friday at Grace Episcopal Church, the Rev. Bill Dugat officiating.

Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Freund Funeral Home, Cuero.
