Rae Burdette Anderson

Rae Burdette Anderson, 88, of Amarillo died Friday, April 27, 2007.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Carter and the Rev. Jim Fox officiating. Arrangements by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.

Mrs. Anderson was born Oct. 7, 1918, in Amarillo to the late Albert and Laura Mae Rikard Law. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she worked as the church secretary for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a daughter, Marcia Rae Davis.

Survivors include a son, Sam Anderson of Amarillo and numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Hillcrest Baptist Church building fund.

The body will be available for viewing on Tuesday.
