On Jan. 13, 1916, at the home of Rev. James Cage in Davenport, Okla., occured the marriage of Homer Conkling of Amarillo, Texas, and Mary Law of Drumright, Okla.
This young couple faced the most severe storm of the season in order to secure the service of their old pastor, who baptized them 13 years ago, when they were but children.
Before the wedding Mr. Conkling built and furnished a nice home in Amarillo where they will make their home. He is Amarillo's most successful contractor and builder, and is busy most all the time, and Miss Law, who is a beautiful christian girl, made no mistake in her choice of a companion, and we predict for them a most prosperous and happy voyage through life.
