Mr. and Mrs. Heber George Long, 112 Hutchinson Avenue, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Lois Long, a teacher in Chittenango, to Daniel S. Snyder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh B. Snyder of Kirkville. Miss Long was graduated from Onondaga Valley Academy and of the Syracuse Normal School. Mr. Snyder was graduated from Minoa High School and attended Tri-State University, Ohio. No date is mentioned for the wedding.

Miss Lois Bernice Long, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heber George Long, 112 Hutchinson Avenue, became the bride of Daniel Stanley Snyder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh B. Snyder of Kirkville, June 23, at 7:30 o'clock. The Rev. Baden P. Mudge officiating in Bridgeport Methodist Church of which he is minister. The altar was set with baskets of pink peonies and gladioli. Miss Elizabeth S. McCall played the piano before the ceremony. Miss A. Christy MacCrea was maid of honor and David H. Snyder was best man. Robert G. Long and Hugh S. Snyder were ushers.

The bride wore white faillle and marquisette with a finger tip veil and a headdress of lilies of the valley and orange blossoms. The maid of honor was dressed in pink with designs of white roses. Her headdress was heart-shaped. She carried pink roses and blue delphinium. Mrs. Long, mother of the bride, wore green linen. Mrs. Snyder, mother of the bridegroom wore a white figured green rayon ensemble. Both mothers had bouquets of roses. There was a reception in the Onondaga Hotel. When the couple left for a trip the bride wore an apple green costume. Her pearls and earrings were the bridegroom's gift. Her bouquet was a white orchid. Since July 1, the couple has been living in Bridgeport.

Snyder, the bride's son, escorted his mother to the altar. Miss Anne Snyder was her mother's maid of honor. Milton D. Mosher Sr. was best man. The couple will reside in Bridgeport.
