William E. Lucas of Silver Spring, Md., died at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Monday morning.

he was born in Boalsburg April 8, 1916, a son of William E. and Edith Grove Lucas.

He is survived by his wife, the former Hilda Sweeny; one son, William of Silver Spring, Md.; one brother, Theodore K. of Rockville, Md., and two sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Sauers of State College and Mrs. Agnes Peake of Bethesda, Md.

Funeral services will be held in Silver Spring with interment in Arlington Cemetery.
