Charles R. MacGregor

Charles Robert MacGregor, 202 West Main Street, Mechanicsburg, died unexpectedly yesterday afternoon at his home. He was 31 years old.

He was born in Carlisle on Mar. 21, 1924, the son of H. Bruce MacGregor Sr., and the late Mrs. Florence Stambaugh MacGregor. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Sunday School, Mechanicsburg, and was director of the Junior and Cherub choirs of the church. He also was soloist at the Fifth Street Methodist Church, Harrisburg. He operated a millinery store at his home.

In addition to his father, he is survived bya a brother, H. Bruce MacGregor, Jr., Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Dorris Taylor, Middletown, and Mrs. Florence Alice Sultzaberger, Mechanicsburg, a niece and four nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Lutheran Church, Carlisle. Rev. Robert R. Clark, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, and Rev. Charles T. Sardeson, pastor of First Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow night at the J. R. Shulenberger Funeral Home, 169 West High Street.
